ÇAÄžRI & CIHANGIR
As legend has it, a demon can't directly influence what happens on Cihan. For that reason they decided to engage in a more sinister way of furthering their goals; Through the minds and souls of other Uçalim. It is possible for a demon to whisper into an Uçalims ear, only for them to hear, tempting them to follow their most sinister desires until they cave and call upon the demon. Most of the time a demon will find an Uçalim in their most desperate moments, or influence their thoughts over a long time and offer them the contract, it is said however that some old Devrim families have secret rituals to call upon a demon.

There are two kinds of tainted Uçalim: ÇaÄŸri and Cihagir. While ÇaÄŸri are feared but generally tolerated, Cihangir on the other hand are not accepted by society and will be shunned and hunted if they are found out. Just like Hybrids, who found their save havens in the Afet citys, there are also places where Cihangir can roam freely without having to hide what they are. Those two places are the islands of Kayph and the ÇaÄŸlayan captial: Engin.
Similar to witches, tainted birds can also feel when another one is near and the way that shows differs from Uçalim to Uçalim.

ÇAÄžRI
ÇaÄŸri have an upcharge of 30€ and their base status is 30 points.
They can be created with a normal Myo and existing Uçalim can be upgraded into a ÇaÄŸri.

Those who had a short term contract with a demon, surrendering their bodies and minds to them for a short while in exchange for a wish. Once the wish is fulfilled and the demon has gotten its payment it will retreat from the Çagri's body and mind, often leaving it clouded and disturbed. A ÇaÄŸris Soul Clock will always be covered in scratches which have black ooze seeping from them and black Veins will cover the surrounding skin.

CIHANGIR
Cihangir have an upcharge of 50€ and their base status is 50 points.
They are only available through a commission by Yereza, Sayuuh or Silumi - or through auctions etc. ​

Those who sold their soul to the demon, making it impossible for them to join the angels after their death and instead damning them to join the demonic forces once their life is over. In exchange for that, Cihangir get access to a demonic power while keeping full control over their body at all times. Once the Cihangir agreed to the contract, the demon will infest their Soul Clock. Their Soul Name will be taken away, instead it will be overwritten with their Demons Name and leave the Soul Clock entirely destroyed with most parts missing and only held together by a black matter. Losing one's Soul Name has further consequences than one might think at first: All Soul Bonds the Uçalim had will be severed while all Curses that were put upon them can no longer be removed. A Cihangir can communicate with their demon, even going as far as to let them speak through their bodies, but it’s the Uçalim's decision.

TRAITS
Trading your soul for power and the fulfillment of your wish can not only take a toll on someone's mind, it can also come with a change in appearance. One of the general changes in ÇaÄŸri as well as in Cihangir is a lower body temperature and slower heartbeat. In the following sheet you can see the tainted birds specific Traits:

Tainted Skin: Parts of the Uçalims skin are tainted which can range from pitch black skin to only black veins covering the tainted part. (Available for ÇaÄŸri as well)

Ethereal Chains: A visible, shadowy manifestation of the binding contract between the demon and the Cihangir.

Missing eyes: Their eyes are entirely missing, only leaving behind black holes where they used to be. The empty eye sockets will always be surrounded by black veins.

Broken Eyes: Their eyes display a look similar to broken glass. (This trait can be combined with other eye traits, such as a clockwork or nightsky eye)

Wicked Wings: The wings of the Cihangir dissolve into shadows at the end.

Tainted Crown: A demonic crown that floats over the Cihangirs head. There is only a slight flicker in the air above them, if they decide to hide it, but it will always turn visible if they use their demonic power over a longer period of time.

Blood: Their blood is highly acidic. There is no taste, only pain. (Legendary)

POWERS
One of the side effects a demon will leave behind when possessing an Uçalim is the ability to enhance some magic powers that the Uçalim already possessed. This side effect happens for ÇaÄŸri as well as for Cihangir.

As part of the contract, every Cihangir gains one of these demonic abilities from their demon:

Blood Bending

Reading an Uçalims deepest desire and their surface thoughts

Melting/Dissolving into the shadows and traveling through them
However; Whenever they use their demonic ability their eyes will turn pitch black and dark veins will become visible around them. Once they stop using the power, everything goes back to normal.

WISHES

Demon contracts always have a twist.

The bigger the wish, the higher the consequences.

Reality and World-altering wishes can't be granted.
​
Example: If you wish for something like bringing a deceased person back from the dead the demon will instead only give you a haunting image of the person that only you can see and hear, since you can't offer them something that equals a life.
