GERMAN

The Eser (Flightless Birds) are Uçalım that are unable to fly, and therefore use mechanical enhancements to make up for that disadvantage. They are the Uçalım's smiths and weapon suppliers.

Examples: Penguins, Ostriches, Emus, Kiwis, Rheas, etc.

APPEARANCE

Average Height: 175 - 210
Average Weight: Far heavier than humans
Strength: ◆◆◆◆◆◆◆◆◆◆

Heat resistance: ◆◇◇◇◇◇◇◇◇◇
Cold resistance: ◆◆◆◆◆◆◆◆◆◆

They preferably wear anything that includes metal and leather, and their clothes resemble typical steampunk. The higher ranking Eser are allowed to decorate the metal of their gear with intricate patterns, and the richest ones among them even use real feathers for their mechanical wings. They can also take their wings off if they want to. Eser usually have messy, dark feathers, and its rare to see any intense colors in their family. Almost all of them are resistant to extremely high or low temperatures. They are also the physically strongest family among the Uçalım.

BEHAVIOR

The Eser are the gentle giants of Cihan, who would only harm if provoked. They interact mostly with Belig and Caglayan, and due to the Eser's value and their extraordinary strength, those two families do not dare to mess with them openly.

EDUCATION

Eser need to find themselves a master who will teach them their craft once they hit ten cycles. If they're very promising, they get renowned, extraordinary masters who will teach them everything they know. Most will just be taught by their parents or close relatives, however, they do not have a set age for finishing school, and will finish once they've built their Diploma Automaton.

HABITAT

The Eser inhabit the cold areas in the north and south of Cihan. Most of their cities are underground, dug into the ice, to create a perfect environment to cool their countless machines. The gentle, sophisticated and sometimes quirky Northern Eser live rather secluded in Çalışkan, and are known for their intricate craftsmanship and remarkable inventions. The more adventurous, risk-taking Southern Eser have a close relationship with the Caglayan, and are faithful suppliers of their weapons, as long as the coin is right. They also inhabit the Eser’s capital, Mahir, which is considered the southernmost city in Cihan.

HYBRIDS

Just like the Inci, they only exile their hybrids, sometimes even equipping them with enough gear to make it to the next Afet capital.

TRAITS

  • Blood: Their blood, which looks like molten gold, can greatly enhance an Uçalım's power, and makes them almost invulnerable for a while. It has a metal taste. Click here for more information.
